It's a long way between convenience stores. Cycling in Eastern Hokkaido, on the Notsuke Hanto peninsula. 17 km one-way without a convenience, make sure you don't pass up the visitor center. At least the cycle-friendly road shoulders here are generous. This is near Shibetsu, Japan.
